Nokia 7110 4*/5*
Nokia's 7110 phone from 2000. Was when phone meet internet you can thank it for our addictive phone culture. With a built in wap broswers your be broswering wml soon. Uisng CSD and a dial up number. you'd be online in ok speeds for the time. The orther feture was similar to the nokia 8110 the front slided out. This time with a click of a *boom* the front slides out showing the keypad. The phone came in one colour*. It chnaged coulor depending on the light being shined on it what makes it fanstastic no case. It came with the duriablity of a nokia. It used nokia barrel jack(3.5mm). Infera red. Custom usb cable(nokia's cable). removable back battrey .Same as the 5190. Call, text, time, calander, services, snake, contacts (upto), calculator,email , and a selection of ringtones. All viewable with a x screen. T9 keyboard and a scrool wheel.
This phone is currently my daily driver. And i'm pretty happy with it. It recives calls and texts well. Alought i haven't been able to get email on it. So there a protntila issue. The colour changing ness isn't as grand when it's green it's fab but normaly it's brown or grey. The battrey life is ok but im using a 5190 battrey not the 7110's oringinal as it has a poor battrey life like an hour. The NiMH works though supprisingly. CSD is a nightmare to set up compared to GPRS and i dont have the budget for it so. I am unable to test the broswer I asume it's similar to 2000's nokia 3310's saying it's a simialr time. Oh and the Sim card holder it junk as it's this thin pice of metal that just about holds the sim in place. Due to the fact sims come in whole now. The sim consoanly is out of place. Even with a adapter and tape.The slide mechanism is old and dosen't work as it use to. So 4/5 for a very important phone. Nokia slide.
